General Civil and Trial Practice. Insurance Law, Personal Injury (Plaintiff and Defense), Insurance Defense, Negligence, Products Liability, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, Banking, Municipal Law. | | Year Established: 1960 | Firm Profile:
The firm of Brown, Lewis, Janhunen & Spencer continues its 40+ year tradition of rendering quality legal services throughout Western Washington. We emphasize litigation, with particular attention to tort and business litigation, family law, real estate disputes, and criminal defense (Mr. Janhunen and Mr. Spencer both formerly served as Prosecuting Attorney for Grays Harbor County). We regularly appear as defense counsel in tort cases at the request of many of the largest insurance carriers. Our insurance work also includes coverage matters, first-party litigation, and inter-company disputes. Our continuing presence in this field has led to the growth of a substantial plaintiff's personal injury practice as well, in which we have employed sophisticated technology, including computer-animated reconstruction. Our firm also maintains a busy general practice in selected areas, including business, real estate, probate, banking, and municipal law (Mr. Lewis served as municipal counsel to the City of Ocean Shores in excess of 15 years). Our lawyers are actively involved in alternate dispute resolution, and we promote the use of arbitration and mediation where suitable to our clients' needs. Our lawyers (including Mr. Spencer -- a former Superior Court Judge) regularly serve as arbitrators. | | Firm Size: 4 | Representative Clients:
