Our firm has combined sophisticated, quality representation with personal attention for clients in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region for over twenty years, concentrating in several areas of practice. Regarding real estate and related transactions, our clients include banks and financial concerns, mortgage lenders, builders, residential and commercial developers, management companies, energy ventures, and an array of agricultural interests. We also serve as corporate counsel and advisor to one of the first entities to organize in Texas as a REIT. We also counsel an independent trust company and indenture trustee on bond offerings for churches and other non-profit organizations nationwide. In this capacity, we have also developed special expertise concerning loan transactions to churches and non-profit organizations. Over the past decade, we have participated in loan and bond closings throughout the United States with combined value approaching one billion dollars. The firm's estate planning and probate practice involves the representation of a diverse clientele on the effective disposition of individual estates, and encompasses virtually all aspects of business and estate planning, business succession planning, probate and trust administration, asset protection planning and elder law issues. We have significant experience in the preparation and implementation of complex wills, living trusts, irrevocable trusts, insurance trusts, charitable giving instruments, gifting strategies and family limited partnership planning. The firm also has substantial experience in providing counsel and advice to corporate and individual fiduciaries, and representing both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in fiduciary litigation. The firm's civil litigation practice focuses primarily on various types of commercial disputes, insurance litigation (first and third party claims), probate litigation, and personal injury law.
