The firm has represented individuals, public entities as well as corporations in the above areas of law with very successful results. Ms. Robinson is a graduate of the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, where she was an Associate Editor of the California Law Review. She represented such clients as the Cities of Oakland, Richmond and Hayward, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, New United Motor Manufacturing Company, Chevron and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. In 1997, Ms. Robinson served as Executive Director and General Counsel of the Alameda County Bar Association ("ACBA") until she resumed practice as the Law Offices of Bari S. Robinson early in 2001. The firm, in its extensive experience, has learned to adopt cost-saving measures without sacrificing the quality of legal services. In addition, as Executive Director and General Counsel of the ACBA, Ms. Robinson was able to observe a vast array of Alameda County firms and the best of their legal practices in order to adapt her own firm to those practices. She has also worked extensively with other bar associations, including the American Bar Association and the local bars of the five Bay Area counties, as well as the Alameda and Contra Costa County judges and courts on administrative and policy matters connected with the courts and the practice of law. She thus has an overview of the practical and policy issues facing the courts and the legal system, in general. Since 1994, Bari Robinson has served as a mediator and early neutral evaluator in construction, real estate, insurance and personal injury cases. She holds a certificate in mediation and early neutral evaluation from the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California and the State Bar of California and has served on various mediation and early dispute resolution panels.
